Identifying the client's needs
The Yoga Spot was due to move to a new venue in August 2018, so it was the perfect time for them to update their logo, as well as redesign their website.
Our New Website package was the perfect solution for The Yoga Spot’s owner Michele Ross. Based on many years’ of experience of working with yoga businesses, we’ve built a template website that we can use for this very purpose. This helps to keep costs as low as possible, whilst being flexible enough to suit the needs of different types of businesses.
Creating a new website
During our kick-off workshop with Michele, we scoped out the structure of the site and agreed the content that Michele would need to provide. Then we got to work on the staging site, reorganising the content, building new pages, adding compelling calls-to-action and ensuring that visitors would be taken on a clear journey when navigating the site.
Adding new images
Michele had a photo shoot done in her new yoga studio, so we were able to add fresh new images to the site to really bring it to life. As part of this process, we standardised all the image sizes, and added social media images to the main pages to make them share-ready.
Applying the style guide
As Michele had also bought our Logo & Style Guide package, we were able to apply this to her new website, which brought it to life even more. Once we were all happy with the new site on the staging server, the final step was to make it live!
A vast improvement
The new site is a vast improvement on the old one, as it’s clearer to use, the information is easier to find, the booking process is simpler, and the content is easier for Michele to edit and manage. We also integrated Michele’s MailChimp account with her website, so visitors can more easily sign up to the mailing list and stay in touch for important news and updates.
Check out the before and after video below for more details of how we improved Michele's website.
Before and after video
“Knowing that Hannah and Guy from Wildheart had worked with some colleagues on their websites and marketing, and liking the results, it was an obvious choice for me to work with them. Both being from a yoga background helped immensely in understanding exactly what was needed for the Yoga Spot going forward. Dealing with Hannah and Guy has made, what could have been a challenging project, joyful, fun and inspiring.” – Michele Ross
