Spreading the word
Scott Parsons bought our SEO package, as he wanted to improve The Yoga Shala’s organic SEO (search engine optimisation) in order to spread the word about the yoga classes they offer, attract more visitors to their website, and hopefully get more of those visitors turning into students at their shala (traditional yoga school).
For the first part of our SEO package we applied our tried and tested deep research process to the business. We carried out in-depth keyword research to identify the actual words and phrases people are using online when looking for the kinds of yoga classes offered by The Yoga Shala in the Poole and Bournemouth area.
We then carried out important topic research to find the most popular online content related to Scott’s business and services. This will help Scott to steer his ideas for future blog posts, to ensure he’s producing content that his audience actually wants to read.
The final part of the research is competitor analysis. This identifies how The Yoga Shala fares against their competitors in terms of organic vs paid advertising, high ranking keywords, web traffic and social media presence. This helps to identify gaps and opportunities Scott can take advantage of, in order to improve The Yoga Shala’s performance and rankings compared to their competitors.
Audit and SEO data
The second part of our SEO package involves a full audit of our client’s website to capture their existing SEO data. We then carefully rewrote this data - focus keyword, SEO title and meta description - using the findings from our research to guide us. Finally, we applied this data to every page of their website, including editing page headings and URLs in some cases, plus adding any necessary URL redirections.
Improving search rankings
Over time, this will ensure that The Yoga Shala’s website will start to appear higher in search rankings for relevant keywords that people are actually searching for to find the kinds of services they offer.
